The job hunting experience is extremely tough.
Unlike the moment I held the Diploma certification with pride, there is no further studies as an excuse this time round.
Recalling the days I spent in SMU; numerous sleepless nights, battling with foreign "talents", cabbing back and for, struggling with grades and of course happiness.
To summarize SMU years: negative > positive
I see myself gradually becoming more pessimistic or maybe just yearning for a simpler life.
I were on cloud nine upon graduation but the next phrase of my life hit me real hard!
I need a job, not temporary nor contract, but permanent.
BUT I chose to escape and procrastinate instead.
The reality still haunt me back eventually.
I sat down everyday with the target of 5 job applications and none replied for few weeks.
To be honest, I do blame myself for procrastinating during my last semester and almost all my friends had gotten job offers.
And yes, I were emotionally affected.
Negative thoughts sipped in unknowingly and your encourage stirred me get professional help.
Not bad, calls came and interviews arranged but none was open-minded enough to accept the fact that I don't want to constraint myself into working in the Marketing industry at such a age.
None of them could recalled that they were once fresh graduate too and wanted to explore different jobs before finalizing one that they can work for life; their current position.
Until this opportunity came, a sincere and humble interviewer interviewed me and told me something that I felt truly related and respect.
"The reason why selected applicants are here today is because you all are academically qualified and well-equipped with the basic skills. I am not here to cross out whoever that belongs to Human Resource background or Law background just because they've done something that is not related to this job. But rather, I am here to see whether their interest and mindset fit this job. Hence, I will not entertain you all casually but give all of you the opportunity to showcase what you all've got."
He's not any authority from the Human Resource Department but the action reflected the kind of attitude each and every person in the Human Resource Department or anyone in the Human Resource practices should have.
And I'm really glad to accept this job offer.
Thanks Ben, Eunice and Janet for giving me this opportunity.

And this officially marks the start of the next phrase of my life.

Whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy.
When your faith is tested, your endurance grows.

Time to put a big full stop to the act of replacing high-priority actions with tasks of low-priority, and thus putting off important tasks to a later time - PROCRASTINATION.

Grabbed a book and went to the Airport this afternoon.
Set myself comfortable on the sofa, screened the voices around me and reflected while reading.
Neither did I felt so good before nor know that I need this so badly.
Felt fully recharged and all ready to do what I'm supposed to do.

Hard work does pay off but most of the time it just need a little more luck.

So, good luck to myself and to everybody around me!

School is sucking me dry!

My last school term is still as brain draining as my previous terms.

I can't understand why my friends who graduated last term can enjoy so much in school before they left.

Ultimate suay-ness!

1. Random grouping with Vietnamese! Not 1 but 2 in a group who simply can't do a single thing. I'm not being bias with regards to foreigners, but they just simply do not qualified to be a university student in Singapore. Waste of Singapore's resources only! Maybe they contribute back with their parents' money.

2. Busy busy but my body chooses to break down at this critical moment. With inefficient group members, I need to work doubly hard to finish all assignments and can't afford to fall sick. BUT! my body just break down after weeks of insufficient sleep. Number of sleepless nights lead to frequent headaches, follows by bad flu and fever.

3. Failed to fulfill my resolutions sat on the very first day of 2011. All thanks to school, no time for friends, no time for parents and no time for you. Every day routine is always sleep, wake up, eat, type report non-stop, meetings, type report non-stop, sleep till next day.

BUT

One good thing to look forward to. my last paper is on 18 April and I'm graduating exactly in one month time!

It has been awhile since I last have a proper blog entry.
I've always wanted to blog but somehow my laziness just overwhelm my brain and defunction my fingers from typing the url and yeah, you all know the rest.

But somehow, I've lost the definition of blogging. Does a really long entry consider as blogging? Can't a short entry, 1 sentence consider as blogging? Why are people moving towards facebook and twitter? Ain't they, too, typing down how they feel in less than 30 words?

Life's really unfair. This semester was an unlucky and rocky one, grouping with selfish members and some just can't be bother. Ended up one of my project was a 2 women show, got back the result for it, satisfied for the amount of hard work I put in. What I realize is those lucky braggarts!!! Look how much have they gain from a project that constitute 40% of the whole mod!!!! ARRRRGGGHHHHH!!

Stupid thing aside, I found something really interesting.

Alright, I made it! I MADE IT!
My first ever 10km run. It's a small step and I'm glad I ended the run 45min earlier than my targeted time. ((:

I seriously thought I couldn't make it since I only started training for 3 to 5 days before the run and barely completed 5km in 30min. It's really strange running with so many people, good encouragement but the uphills were killerrr! My only motivation was the drink stations, in fact, the 3rd drink station with 100 plus! I were dying to get it but in the end I just grabbed whatever I could - plain water. Best part was the last 2km, there's this undescribable emotion in me that made me run non stop till the finishing line and the moment I saw the timing, I smiled.

Flushed with pride at the end of the run!! Pardon the messy hair and ugly expression. The feeling is undescribable and not even the professional cameramen manage to capture it. LOL! The emotion came innerly!!!

I gonna admit I'm addicted to it, planning to take up 10km at Adidas Sundown 2010 then 21km Standard Chartered Marathon 2010. Die die have to grab those free bananas at 12km, food station. HAHAHAAAA!!!!

Hopefully another 2 more 21km in 2011 before I head off to my once in a lifetime 42km in 2012! Do you think I can run 84km in another 5 years time?

Big heellloo to my dearest blog. It's been quite awhile since I last blogged.
Well, just ended my exam last week. My initial plan of 3.5 years stay is booo~ Stupid school, can't enough provide sufficient classes for those majors. But it's ok! Shall enjoy whatever I've.

Anyway, last summer I worked at govt board. shall not elaborate, kinda sensitive. (Don't wanna get caught!!) Had a great time knowing wonderful people. haha! Changed my laptop, no fireworks or photoshop, so nooo pictures. Missed my supervisor lots! Missed my colleague who gave us fruits 24/7, my toilet and lunch kakis and those cutey tiny little squirrels. heex!

I've got a challenge this sunday, hope i can accomplish it though I know it's kinda impossible. But whatever, treat it as an experience thennn! WISH ME LUCK! catch me live on TV on channel ** if you can figure out. MUAHAHA!

02/01/2009 was a horrible day!

1. Internet got cut off for the whole day and I called Mio helpline the whole day but all I heard was, "Your calls are very important to us, please hold and our next available technical staff will attend to you shortly." and "You may wish to continue to wait or press "9" to end the call." *insert Singtel advertisement music* See! I can even remember the whole damn thing! And I actually waited for almost 30min (I know I'm stubborn! TIKI!) before the NEXT AVAILABLE TECHNICAL STAFF ATTENDS TO ME!!!

2. So, I went to clean up my laptop table and put my sleeping bag back to the study room and toooo myyyy horrrorrrr!!!!

BIGGEST DEAD JI ZA OF THE YEARR!!!

Right smacked under my study table! At first I thought it's still alive and probably I can shhh it away, but NOOOOOO!!! No matter how hard I SHHH or STAMP my feet it just won't move! And I kneeled down to take a closer look..

OMMMGGGG!!!! There's ants underneath it and flies!! IT'S DEAD! It's lower left feet was drying up too!! AHHHHH!!!! It's not grey in colour! OMG!! *FAINTS*

Side note, I saw it climbing actively the other day inside my house and didn't expect it to die inside my house!!! :( 死了也不放过我！

And if you all want to know how sure am I that it is the same lizard! It's the same BIG AND DISGUSTING COLOUR LIZARD!!!

A 21st birthday treat,
My ever first day-flight,
Lotsa good, yummylicious food and shoppings!

I was away for a 4 days 3 nights trip,

And...

This little housefly sits all the way from Bangkok to Singapore and back again!
I wonder how it survives w/o any ear ringing or whatever. HAHAA!!!
LONG LIVE HOUSEFLY!!

In short, Day 1 was more of adult time where they went to pray
and
I just shopped around in Silom and Patpong Night Market
(departmental stores were all having up to 70% off!!)

lotsa food exploring, from street food to cheap restaurant food!!
(street food for 7 of us @ 168 baht = S$7.30!!)
FULFILLING DAY WITH GOOD BUYS AND CHEAP FOOD!

Oh not to mention that waffle store near the BTS station!
Oozing chocolate, oozing peanut butter, maple honey, rum and raisin.
You name it! They got it!
Definitely more shiok than any Singapore bakery waffles!
1 for S$0.60, 3 for S$1!! *OMG!*
I give them 5 yummy raisins!

Thai people love roasted porky so much!! It's my heaven!!!
We went to this really nice chinese restaurant nearby
&
I got myself the 4th plate of roasted porky in 1 day!

Day 2
No picture cause I were too busy shopping. HAHA! But I did managed to
grab dunkin donuts and chilled at some really nice cafe.
(a slice of cake that's less that S$1, chocolate latte at S$2)

I went to places like Big C, Pratunam, 1/2 of MBK shopping center and Chinatown!

Seriously, there's so many little stalls everywhere in BKK
and
all you have to do is just shop. HAHA!

Highlight of Day 2 was dinner at Chinatown. Never had so much bird nest and shark fins in my life before! *fingers licking good!* SEDAP!!!

Don't know we 哪来的豹子胆！I suggested trying tuktuk!
And for the rest of the day and day 4, we're all addicted to tuktuk!
Speedy speed, gusting wind, superduper cheap!

Not to mentioned, I've lotsa nose shit once I got back to the hotel.
HAHAHAHAA!!!

SHIOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought lotsa things from Chatuchak Market!! It's at least 5 or 6 times bigger than Bugis Street! More bargains and goodies too!!! And I went back to MBK again to finish my another 1/2 shopping!!!

We had McDonald in BKK. Freaking cheapp!!!! *screamsss!!!* $4/set meal?
They even have PORKY BURGER!! WAHH SHIOK!!!!

And since it was the last night, we bought back beers, drinks, softdrinks(for kids) and chips back to hotel and party!! I think I'll become a 酒鬼 if I stay here for good! CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!!!!! My cousins do really have lotsa funny/lame jokes! HAHAHA!

Day 4
We had a sumptuous international buffet for 290baht (S$12.50) before we leave this shopping paradise. YUMMMY!!!!

TOMORROW MARKS THE START OF MY SUMMER BREAK!!

4 Months! WOOHOO!!
Finally, I deserve this long break! Past 2 papers hadn't been a good sign. Hopefully I can achieve the grades I want.. BOO!!!

On the brighter side, it's been a long while since I really sit by a corner and read something I like.. at my own pace, leisurely. Let me see, I guess the last book that I've read was Clay Marble, a book introduced by XY.

NOW! (yah, I know I still had 1 more paper to go) SERIOUSLY! I can't wait until tomorrow to ripe open the book that I've always wanted to read by Cecelia Ahern - Where rainbows end!!!

I totally have no idea how these foreigners able to grab a place in local Unis!! I'm not being racist or bias here! I've seen so many cases, whereby, all these foreigners just slack their way through and, SERIOUSLY, ~~fucking lazy!~~ no contribution AT ALL!!

I thought I shouldn't be so bad and should spare a thought for them that they need time to adjust themselves... BUT!! It's not an excuse to totally ignore your own designated part of the project! And worse, producing something which is... I dont know!

Today is Christmas Eve!

So, the night before 23rd Dec, I was busying cutting and wrapping. Lots of drafting and cutting to achieve the following..

Ok, we headed down to Ikea! WEEEE!! Long time no feast liao! With FAT4 around, I'm super kai wei! WEI KOU HENG HAO! We didnt even bother to shop around TM! (we planned to walk walk around TM initially)

We met up at 4.30pm, extremely hungry and headed to take shuttle bus to Ikea and headed straight to have our dinner at 5pm. HAHAHA! SUPER HUNGRY!

Bth ourselves, we've 3 trays and 1 trolley but still not enough to place all our food!

A table for 10 filled with food for 4 satisfied stomachs! YUM!! *licks lips*

OH! this boy/guy/man was super patient and waited for us to finish our food! MUAHAHA!! *claps* People was looking at us, especially when Chups and Gina were away to take water. We admit that we're big eaters! MUAHAHA! (No need to wait, 4 more cakes to go!)

Went to work today, but we have a mini celebration feast!

So we had yummy pasta (prepared by 1 of my colleague), passion fruit cake (passion fruit is all the way from USA!) and lots of chocolates, sweets, jellies and chips! YUM! And excellent Christmas songs from Corrinne may!

Everybody was in the spirits! Kids were extremely happy cause of sweets and chocolate! Adults were happy cause of party!

I was extremely surprised that my boss got each of us a present as well! The message she wrote for me was touching, nice and sweet! :) Even the students got me sneakers and candy cane. HAHAA!

When we first stepped in, I spotted my love!!

A bunch of kids and us were there trying to wake him up so I could take a front pic of him. He did and looked abit frustrated and went back to sleep after... HAHA!

There's alot of pups in there but most of them were sleeping! Good life sia!

My 2nd favourite pup! Didn't manage to capture a nice pic of it. Too black. HA!

A bunch of poodles! LOL!! Most of them are only 2mths old! CUTTTEEEE!!!

Since most of them were sleeping, there only 1 pup who's really active!

Chups was saying why her butt was so "qiao" or she kept "qiao"-ing her butt so high. Then we realized she's trying to push her shit out and you know... green mushy shit got stuck to her butt and she cleaned it by wiping herself against the metal flooring!

Apparently, the shit didnt drop into where it supposed to. And it ended in the pup's mouth. HAHAHA!

OH!

I managed to take a good pic for her when she's pushing her shit! HAHAHA!

HAHA! I'm not sure if you all realize a pattern in my blog entries. I only blog on Sunday~

Ok, so I'm quite done with this term in school, few more weeks till main exam. :(

I managed to clear 1 of my module during the 1st half of my term. Wee! It was fun and enjoyable because it's CREATIVE THINKING! I'm blessed with a group of really nice groupmates and classmates, although I've to wake up super early on every Wed. MUAHAHA! Even the Prof was super nice and he still remembers me when he saw me last Monday!

So, it's all about creativity and our Prof allows us to do anything for our project as long it's creative. So my group decided to promote Singapore's traditions in a fun and unique way!

Basically, we want everybody (Singaporeans and tourists) to discover all aspect of Singapore through the process of discovering "the red dots". So, we managed to take some pictures and made an advertisement.

After presentation! 1st group pic. Abit not warm up yet but look at Ken, my super duper "ON" and enthu group member, is damn funnie la! VERY WARM UP! HAHA!

So, we decide to let our super duper ON member to appear in our advertisement..
During the preparation, 50 red and 50 white papers were crushed to form the word SINGAPORE. Damn not environmental la us. but i took back all the paper ok! For future use. MUAHAHA!

IT'S HOLIDAYYYYY!!!
I'M SUPERRR DUPPPERR HAPPY!! :))

Life has been so hectic for me! There's like tonnes of things to do everyday and piles of assignment deadlines to meet. SAY NO TO THEM FOR A WEEK! YEAH! *rock on*

A few weeks ago, I was involved with my school's International Peace Day project. It's a project for us, it's more of like me, to vandalize and vent all my stress on the library pillar to show our view of what's peace is. I thought it will be a super slack job and probably will finish it within 2 days. BUT, the school actually hired professional artists from Lasalle to help out and my in-charge artist want us to paint clouds manually!!!

So you all know la, a girl with no arts background had to start learning blending and mixing of colours from 1 super pro artist who wins numerous awards from don't know where. :(

It's not that easy ok! Most of my members doesn't want to take the responsibility so I had to spend the whole day learning all this. It was fun! and I'm super pro at blending small amount of blue into white. (the artist said it!) HAHA!

Then to my horror, I went back the following week and the artist wanted me to repaint the whole pillar with blue!! (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) There goes my hardwork la, apparently he claimed that it was just a practise. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) And you know I'm not pro at blending small amount of white to blue. Don't ask me why.. I just cant see it. :(

The end product of the pillar! so proud of myself! I spent 3 weekends, 10am to 9pm, just to finish the background!

Apparently, the artist and I agreed that the background would do the job in expressing the "calm" side but my group members insisted on putting the dove up.. so.. HAHA!

Our group totally have no idea what to do with another side of the pillar so...

1 of my group member bought the wrong paint but the black turned out quite nice and glossy! The black paint actually "eat" the initial pillar colour and the cleaner's going to have a hard time repainting the pillar. I guess they will have to peel the black paint out or something. HAHAHA!

US! I look really slim inside there. MUAHAHAHA!!! and TALL too. :x

Busy... Busy... Busy...

Every day seems to pass so quickly, so quickly, that I could not catch a glimpse of fresh air. Every day is all about standing in the MRT, printing, meeting new faces, and more standing in the MRT.

And now it's going to be Oct, then Nov, then Dec, and next thing you know, it's 2008. AAAAAHHHHHHH!!! SUPER FAST!!! How I wish I could stop the time for 3 days, doing things I like.

I don't know, I'm thinking about you all 24/7. And, it has become a habit. I'm in need of more dose of FAT4! I need to get the radiant and shine back!! I need more laughter and lame jokes back to life!! I need the same old frequency... :( I need you all so badly.

I wanna type something meaning and more but... too much thinking kill brain cells. Shall reserve it till holiday...

There's this tiny teeny funny feeling in me for the past few weeks.
I do enjoy my super-free moment now, but, somehow I'm not really feeling great or happy.
I went to school last week and it was kinda weird for not having my usual gang with me. Ok, I'm considered quite friendly la. What to do, the cycle repeats itself. Made some new friends but... well....
I just don't know how to describe what I'm feeling now. I know I'm fine but somewhere in my heart/brain/mind is not right. HAHA!
I just wanna shut my mind completely off.

We're damn bo liao la! Not sure how we managed to chat non-stop 24/7 till our golden days in TP. So both of us decided to read my blog archive. HAHA!!
Damn stupid and lame I tell u!

Didn't know I used to be so lame and bo liao.. Doing stupid hairstyles, taking stupid/meaningless pictures and creating some weird and addictive icons. HAHAHA!!

But all thanks to those still-viewable-pictures that I managed to dig out my old TPJC tee! It's yellowish now but going to bleach it soooonnnn~~

And I'm super impressed by myself la!! I could write a whole chunk of words lor! Bth, I must admit I'm old with de-grading writing/spelling skills (praying hard that I'll pass my English wavier test).

The last day of CNY!
And our last destination isssss....
GINA'S HOUSE!!!

Fat3, Ah Mian & Rachael reported at Gina's block and we stormed our way up to her doorstep! I guess we missed the Grand Opening dance that we did last year. HAHAHA!!!

We went to Gina's room and you know... messing around as usual! Playing with pillows, milk bottles, laptop and anything that we can grab. HAHAHA!!

YESH!!! Gina's mummy, The Beauty came into the room and gave us angbaos!! WOOO!!! Thanks!! We LOVE you! *kisses*

We were still inside the room chatting and gossiping when Gina's parents were shouting from the living room for us to go out and play cards! CNY tradition la! Once a year activity that cannot be miss! $_$

There we go, chionging for the nicest oranges and the best seats! BTH us! I guess we gamble quite alot this year. (Kelvin's house, TBo11 chalet & Gina's house)

Our huat-ness also increased over the years!! Keep getting 21 21 21 21 21 21!!!! $_$ Some were stress coz Beauty invested 10bucks on their As. HAHAHAHA!! Exciting & trilling sia! Not suitable for old people like me. Heart not good. LOL!

And guests were in during evening time. While most of them were still singing, we chiong the buffet first. (Beauty allowed us to do so. *bleah*) Food, of course nice la! Xy and I found a chicken wing like seaweed chicken. HAHAHA!!!

After that, we went ktv-ing and gambling as usual!! OH! We went down to check out the small kids playing waterbomb! They're soooo cute! Especially Queena!!! Awwww.. my heart... melting!! HAHAHAHAHA!!

1st Mar 2007
Our last paper in Temasek Polytechnic. :( I'm missing the school food now! POPIAH! CUTLET! I MISS UUUU!!!

As usual, we girls gather gather first and yah... Chups & I were late. MUAHAHA!
Then we headed off to find Jason at the chalet. He's the only guy/person over there and it was so nice of him to come out and picked us at the busstop. Aww~

Then you all know la, once we reached there, we were like "wooo-ahhh-woahh-wahh" cause the view was very relaxing and nice! especially the open-air living room! But, the doors over there were quite scary! I cant remember who took the first step to open 1 of the rooms but we managed to brave through, jump around, walk around.

We girls ar, were so damn lucky la! 1st, Jason picked us up then he actually mopped the whole living room!! Mr Right in making I tell eww! We were just so relaxing watching stupid show and chit chatting. MUAHAHA! cant stand us!

I think it was only 30min later that Xiaoxin, Jason, XY and I were hungry and we walked all the way to Changi interchange to grab FOOOOOOODDD!! (24/7 hungry la!) and I'm not sure y the whole sum of $$ was with me. BUT MAN! I FEEL DAMN RICH AT THAT MOMENT!

OH! We bought mosquito rings too!!! Love the smell sia! So kumpoong feeelll~

And we were back to the chalet and u knoooowwww what???

There were alot of people coming at different timing and we were glad that there were quite a number of activities happening to cater to different needs!

At the later night, people started bathing and some of the girls playing inside the room la! Some playing tv games, singing, posing, gambling!

At the later later night, I totally had no idea what the others were doing coz I'm sleeping and I guess I drooled a little. MUAHAHA!

Update on CNY @ Kelvin Lim's house;
Weather was super hot that day and Fat4 + Rachael were early.
Mr. Darius pick us up so we can go his house and gamble la!

Jason came and we played a few rounds of mahjong before Matt came and hide himself inside Darius's room for some ~~anti-social~~ gaming. Qinsheng came and we played Blackjack la! Wah, He kept being the banker till nearly no $$ yet doesnt give up sia!! Amazing! In the end, XY and I dragged Qs to play Heart Attack. Salute to me man, I took 3 cards for each set when there should be 4 instead. HAHAHA!! In the end only left XY and I playing Heart Attack? LOL!! Damn exciting!!

Finally, we managed to drag/pull/push Matt out of Darius's room. And...

Yo Everybody! Post Merry Christmas!! :)

This year Christmas - it's kinda different be it from the weather, food preparation to games and so on.....
Party 24/7!! Lovely Dovey moment!! BBQ!! Fire-starter mission!! Mass production factory worker!! Military popper!! Food vacuum cleaner!! w/o alcohol - :(

It's been raining cats and dogs for don't know since when and we were hoping it will stop by the time we reach the BBQ pit... Went to Gina's house to get charcoal and stuffs! HAHA! Lovely Dovey moment with Gina on the way back from NTUC. (Hugging under 1 lovely umbrella)

But...

Spoil my mood man!! It was raining at the time we went to collect food from bbqwholesale uncle.
And it was raining when Chups & XY carried the food to our BBQ pit.
And it was raining when Gina & I looking after the food while they were away.
And it was raining when the 2 dirty ladies when to wash themselves in wide open carpark + puddle of dirty water.

And it was raining when we gather at the BBQ pit.

Poor prawnies, satays, buffalos winggies, bee hoon, fried rice, hotdogs, crabsticks, stingraysss drenching themselves on wide open space. :(

When we finally get permission to go to Gina's voiddeck to BBQ, rain stops....

Food happened because of them... + others as well who take turns to flip the food, fan the pit and taste the food if it's cook! (I pei fu u all)
